Driving and Safety Tips for Women RVers

  1. The best way to avoid a problem is not create a problem. Pay attention to how you’re driving and don’t be afraid to set the tone and take control of the road.
  2. Avoid backing up your RV whenever possible. Do pull throughs whenever you can. If you do have to back up, ask for help from a spotter.
  3. Never work on your rig in open shoes or shorts. Wear gloves. Take care of yourself first.
  4. Make yourself a checklist from front to back when setting up and taking down.
  5. Quit worrying so much about what other people think or all the things that could go wrong. Go and enjoy what you’re doing and forget about the rest.
